“I became a leader through my parents encouraging me to step up and lead those around me. I was a little reluctant at first but over the past few years I’ve grown accustomed to it and really glad God has given me the opportunity to spread His Word at my school. I like leading discussions, inviting people to join us, meeting new people, learning their life story and faith background. It was also pleasing to meet others who wanted to lead with me and work together with them.
My advice for students thinking of leading a Campus Bible Group is to just ask God to give you courage and guidance. Be prepared and give it your full effort. Try to put yourself out there and be open about sharing your faith by asking people to come join you and learn about God with you.”
