At Equip Retrain I learned a lot about getting into the Word of God. I learned that I need to memorize the Word of God so that it will strengthen me in my faith. I liked how I was able to meet a lot of new people and make connections with them. I took away a lot from what we learned and I am applying it to my own personal life such as just memorizing the Word and keeping it such a special part of my life. I was grateful and blessed to be able to go. This was a great opportunity that God has given me.   Jacob – North HS – 11th grade

I learned that you can only teach what you know about the Bible. I also learned how to not be afraid of teaching others. I liked breaking up in groups with new people I didn’t know. My take away is that I need to work on myself so that I can help others.   Kayden – Christa McAuliffe Academy – 7th grade

I learned more about Christ and how to be a leader in youth ministry. I liked meeting with new people and talking about our churches, schools and each other. One thing I took away was that there are verses and chapters from the Bible about how to teach God’s Word especially to middle schoolers. It was a really fun and great experience!   Reed – Maize South MS – 7th grade

I learned about the importance of having someone pouring into you, filling your cup so that you can go and disciple others without draining your own cup. I liked sitting in new groups of people and talking with them – although I wish the groups were more like 3-4 people so that more people could speak and have deeper conversations. I took away that no matter where we are we can share the gospel. We don’t have to go into ministry as a profession to share the gospel. We don’t have to wait till after we’re done with school. Jesus calls us to go out now and make disciples. Before we help others fill their cups with Jesus we need to make sure our own cups are actively and intentionally being filled and growing alongside Jesus – walking His path with Him.     Justin – Andover Central HS – 12th grade
