Praying for current and future Student Leaders!

This week the school year is beginning in most area middle and high school campuses. I am excited to see what God is going to do through student missionaries this year. It seem like yesterday that a group of middle school students were talking about how they were going to establish a Campus Bible Group at their new high school this coming school year. They have grown from a handful of students to six active leaders who take turns delivering Bible study lessons each week. As Freshman in high school they are ready to do the same at their high school. Then there are the four middle school boys who just started leading as 7th graders at the end of this past school year. I am excited to see how they will grow and challenge their peers in the coming year. There are many Campus Bible Groups that already have leadership in place and are ready to continue to be salt and light on their campus this year.

Yet… my prayers this summer have been continually drawn to those public school campuses without a Campus Bible Group. Those without a group of students that find encouragement and courage in gathering together. I am praying for God to rise up a new generation of student to answer “The Call” where His light is dim and the need of the gospel message is great.

Would you join me in praying for:

    1. Student missionaries as they lead Campus Bible Groups.

    2. More students to answer “The Call” to become a campus missionary.

    3. Upcoming events sponsored by Campus Ministry Network to Equip and Encourage Christian students.
