Middle school student starts a fruitful Bible Study.

Student Leaders Speak

“When I was in sixth grade I noticed not a lot of kids were not very close to God. I had heard that West High School had a Bible Study, so I though – Why can’t Hamilton Middle School have one? All year I would think about starting a Bible Study but I didn’t know how and I was scared. When I got to seventh grade I decided I would do it. I went up to my principal and asked if I could start a Bible Study. He said yes and I would need a teacher to sponsor me. I immediately thought of a teacher that I used to talk to at recess. Then my principal said,  “Mr Meyer would be someone you might ask.”  Mr Meyer was that teacher that I used to talk to at recess. I asked Mr Meyer and he said he would sponsor me. Our first meeting had six students including myself. Our biggest gathering has been thirty students. I also have students willing to lead beside me. The group is growing and over twenty students have prayed the prayer to receive Christ into their lives.”
