“God calls us to be relentless with our friends. Mark 16:15 says, “Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Notice how he says every creature. This has to be one of the biggest challenges for our generation. We get so caught up in self-image and in pride that it is often hard to follow. As you read through scripture you see that Jesus talked to and ate with some of the most hated people in his culture. He still loved them. Just because someone may not wear the coolest clothes or have the coolest stuff doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t talk to them about Jesus. We should talk to EVERYONE about Jesus. Once we get past our pride God will do awesome things through us.”

“Last semester at lunch I was sitting eating my lunch, at my regular table, in my comfort zone and God challenged me. My spiritual gift is the gift of prophecy. I couldn’t help but feel the Holy Spirit guiding me to the kid at the table by himself. God told me what he was going through a divorce and his grandma was in the hospital. Trying not to scare him, I sat down and just told him that I knew he was going through some stuff. He looked up at me and said, “How did you know that?” I was hoping that he’d just kind of open up and be like: Yes, I am. But he didn’t. I proceeded to tell him about what God had pressed upon me about what he was dealing with. I shared with him my testimony and God’s love. Latter he did message me and thank me for caring. Strange how listening to the Spirit guides you to right where you need to be. It is all about showing God’s love from the little things of: opening a door, saying hi, paying for someone’s lunch or telling someone you will pray for them. Start each day with praying that God will guide you and give you opportunities to witness. It’s truly amazing what he will do through that. Allow yourself to be used by God.”
