Campus Ministry Network was established in 1986 in Wichita, Kansas as a local ministry in response to the emerging student-led Campus Bible Group movement that began in late 1985. Before 1985 there were no student-led Campus Bible Groups. The 1984 Equal Access Law made student-led, student-initiated Campus Bible Groups legal. One Wichita student started the first student-led Campus Bible Group at Southeast High School in the Fall of 1985. She challenged other students through a small student conference and by the end of that year there were student-led Campus Bible Groups on eight local high schools. Now Campus Groups exist in both Middle Schools and High Schools in the Wichita and greater area.
Campus Ministry Network was founded to equip and encourage these student leaders. We now support over 30 Campus Bible and Prayer Groups on 27 area campuses. We visit these Campus Groups on a regular basis to see how we can best equip and encourage them.
Campus Ministry Network provides annual student leader training at Strength for the Task each year as the school year begins. We also host a mid-year EQUIP event to keep students on mission. CMN equips students to lead their peers in prayer at the annual See You At The Pole at area campus flagpoles each September. That same evening CMN hosts See You AFTER The Pole event where area youth from our community gather together in praise, student testimonies and prayer.
Campus Ministry Network partners with area youth pastors by hosting Youth Pastor Lunches. At these gatherings youth pastors are encouraged to help their students become “mission-minded” about their campuses. Youth pastors are given the opportunity to become a campus coach for a specific campus. Just like a sports coach they will equip and encourage students and watch on the sidelines as students lead their Campus Groups.
We believe the Christian MS & HS student is the missionary and their campus is the mission field.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and tangible return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christain is enabled to live a Godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
