I started a Campus Bible Group when I was in a low place and struggling with other kids making fun of me. I wanted to help others like my cousins and students I knew at school who struggled with some of the same things. These struggles made it hard at times for me to keep my faith in God. Then I would remember the lyrics from a Group 1 Crew song:

“I might let you bend but I won’t let you break.”

When those times came that I thought I would break I just kept faith in God and He has helped me through it. Leading this Group has not only helped students who come but it has encouraged me. Those students that have come and supported the Campus Bible Group have become my friends because I actually lost six friends when I told them I was starting this Campus Bible Group.

Knowing that I have to lead a Bible study every week keeps me in the Word of God every day. Every night I am spending time in my Bible and trying to ask questions I may not understand. I figure other students at the Campus Bible Group may have the same questions. This Group has kept me strong with God as well as a way to reach out to other students at my school.
