Student Leaders Speak

“Being a Bible study leader is a great privilege and blessing that should not be taken for granted. As a leader, you have to learn to step back and let God speak through you. Finally, God has taught me many things about my faith and Himself by allowing me to lead at East High School. I wouldn’t want to lead a Bible Club at any other school!” Sam – East High School

“As a Fellowship of Christain Athletes leader, I have had the privilege to learn about myself, my classmates, my teachers and of course the Lord. I’ve had the opportunity to speak at many events because of FCA and be a leader in other areas of my life. My advice for other students is to get uncomfortable. That’s when we begin to reach our potential. Knowing that we can’t fail when we have Christ in our lives should push us to maximize our gifts and talents. We have it in us, we just have to be available to say “yes” to our calling. FCA has been a crucial support system in my life that has held me accountable in my spiritual journey.” Sarah – Valley Center High School

“Get some people that will consistently come and get them to help, participate and invite people. Also, keep the same structure for Bible study every week so it’s easy to run and it stays organized.” Michael – Heights High School

“Being a light to others was a highlight of my senior year! To be able to share Jesus boldly has always been my desire. So I decided to follow God’s calling, and start the group! It’s been amazing to see Jesus move at Eisenhower. We encouraged each other to love like Jesus! It truly has paid off. I am happy to say that our Bible study will continue at Eisenhower!” Katy – Eisenhower High School
